RAFAEL NADAL v TOMMY ROBREDO
Robredo tried to outhit Nadal and hit severe angles to gain the advantage on Nadal. For a while, this strategy was enough to stay even with the rising star, but Robredo seemed to tire while Nadal continued running down every ball and kept hitting them just as hard.
Nadal has now extended his unbeaten run on clay to 47 games, making it one better than legend Bjorn Borg, and six behind Argentine Guillermo Vilas, who set his mark in 1977. Nadal has seemed invincible on the red clay and has his sights set on winning Roland Garros again.
