ROGER FEDERER    v     CARLOS MOYA

4-6, 6-4, 6-2

Roger Federer fought back from a set down to beat Carlos Moya and progress to the final of the Hamburg Masters.

Moya, the 1998 French Open champion, had his best chance ever to beat Federer, but now has lost all 7 chances.
Moya took the first set by using his clay court skills and his exceptional inside-out forehand to take control of the points.

Bu the 2nd set, the Swiss top seed and world number one found his game to hit back and win set.
Federer broke early in the decider and never looked back to reach his fourth final of the season.
He will now play Spain's Rafael Nadal who also needed 3 sets to earn the win against Lleyton Hewitt.
"Today was the day to beat him; I had a feeling I could beat him," Moya said. "But at important moments, he brings out his best."
"I felt I was controlling the match," Moya said. "But with Federer, you can't expect to beat him until it's over.

I had some break points but he came up with some great shots."
